Student Success Stories

Portrait of Daejun Pak, web optimization student

Daejun Pak

From Marketing Background to Traffic Specialist

When Daejun joined our program in March 2024, he had solid marketing knowledge but struggled with the technical side of website optimization. His background was mostly content creation—he knew what made good copy but not how to ensure people actually saw it.

The turning point came during Module 3, when he analyzed loading speeds for an e-commerce client. He discovered their image files were slowing everything down. After implementing compression techniques and lazy loading, the site's performance score jumped from 42 to 87. More importantly, the bounce rate dropped by 31%.

Current Role: Working with three Seoul-based retailers on conversion optimization. His most recent project helped a fashion boutique increase organic traffic by 43% over four months by restructuring their category pages and improving internal linking.

How Students Progress Through Our Program

Most people come to us knowing that website traffic matters but unclear on what actually moves the needle. Some have tried basic SEO tactics with mixed results. Others are complete beginners who just recognize this is a valuable skill.

We start with fundamentals—how search engines work, what makes sites slow, why some pages convert and others don't. Then students tackle progressively complex challenges using real websites.

Foundation Months (1-3)

Learning technical basics: site structure, page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, analytics setup. Students audit their first websites and present findings.

Application Phase (4-6)

Working on actual optimization projects. Students implement changes, measure results, and adjust strategies based on what the data shows them.

Specialization (7-8)

Diving deeper into chosen focus areas—technical SEO, conversion rate optimization, or traffic analysis. Final projects address real business challenges.
